Paillettes is a yarn with fine sequins, pleasant to work with and versatile. It is particularly well-suited as a complementary yarn, for example, alongside a delicate silk-mohair thread or in combination with yarns such as merino or alpaca. This makes the yarn ideal for shawls and scarves worn directly against the skin. The tiny sequins are barely noticeable when worn, yet still provide a subtle shimmer.
