Description
Description
Loch Lomond Bio is a traditional British tweed yarn with beautiful nubby bits. It is woolen spun, making it nice and airy with good yardage. This also results in light, warm garments due to the trapped air within the fibre itself.
The rustic nature, coupled with the tweedy bits, is fantastic for light but toasty cardigans, sweaters and very warm shawls.
It is GOTS-certified, meaning that is is organic and must adhere to very strict standards throughout the entire supply chain. From the sheep to the dye house, from the production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards.
The raw wool for Loch Lomond comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. It is spun and dyed in Turkey.
