Introducing: the latest version of our classic tweed yarn – DONEGAL TWEED+
Spun and dyed in the legendary tradition of the Donegal region of Ireland, this yarn is an invitation for you to create classic, heirloom pieces. Since the yarn retains a little oil from spinning, a remarkable transformation occurs once it has been knitted and washed: the yarn blooms, gains volume and takes on a luxurious softness, which underlines the timeless look.
You can feel, and appreciate, the authenticity of the traditional production process. Occasional variations in length and thickness are not so much defects, but more a sign of quality with this true wool tweed.
