Cozy Cub Mittens | Pattern

The cozy cub mittens are knit with a longer two by two ribbed cuff so you have the option of folding them or leaving them long to tuck under your jacket, keeping the cold, wind and snow out. They are knit with the softest boucle and Pima cotton merino making them warm and cozy for all your winter adventures.

This pattern is written and tested specifically for Woolfolk Flette Bulky and Woolfolk Luft.

You'll need approximately 54 yards of Woolfolk Luft for the cuff and 65 yards of Woolfolk Flette Bulky for the hand. You will also need US9 (5.5mm) and US 10.5 (6.5mm) circular needles with your preferred cord length for magic loop. The gauge for this pattern is 2x2”/5x5cm = 5 stitches x 9 rows in stockinette stitch using US 10.5/6.5mm needles.

The finished mitten is approximately 4" wide x 12" long (with cuff unfolded) and fits an
average adult hand. You can add or remove length on
the hand or thumb keeping in mind that adding length may
require a bit more yarn.

This pattern is written for knitters with previous experience knitting mittens in mind and is considered an advanced/beginner level.

The pattern is written for the magic loop method although DPN's or short circulars would work as well.
